ALDI is giving away free boxes of groceries through Thursday, and shoppers willing to act fast at exactly noon Eastern each day can claim one before supplies run out.

The discount grocery chain launched the “ALDI Blind Box” giveaway, releasing a new themed box each day from June 22 through June 25. At noon ET daily, shoppers can visit aldiblindbox.com to claim that day’s free box while supplies last.

The four-box themes are snacks, fiber, protein, and a “mystery” box, according to multiple reports about the promotion. Each box is estimated to contain around $50 worth of ALDI products.

How to claim one

The process is simple, but timing matters: shoppers visit the Blind Box website at noon ET, select that day’s available box, and enter their shipping information. Boxes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last, meaning they’re expected to go quickly once each day’s window opens.

ALDI is revealing which theme is coming next on its Instagram account, @aldiusa, ahead of each day’s noon drop.

Why ALDI is doing this

The company says the giveaway is tied to the broader trend of “blind box” or mystery-unboxing culture that has taken off across collectibles like Labubu dolls, Pokémon cards, and trading cards in recent months.

ALDI’s Director of Communications, Bridget Kozlowski, said the company wanted to tap into the same sense of discovery shoppers already feel browsing ALDI’s aisles, noting that customers come to ALDI for value but also enjoy finding new products to share with friends.

If you miss it

Shoppers who don’t manage to snag a box don’t need to worry — every item featured in the boxes will remain available for purchase in ALDI stores nationwide year-round.

The giveaway runs through Thursday, with no indication yet of whether ALDI plans to repeat the promotion in the future.
