The national morning show “Live with Kelly and Mark” is packing up for the Gulf Coast next month, and local fans can request a seat in the audience.

Co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos will tape the show on the sand at the Sandpearl Resort on Monday, Nov. 16, and Tuesday, Nov. 17. Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, the area’s tourism marketing group, is partnering with the resort to host. Tapings are set for 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. each day.

Organizers expect thousands of fans along the shoreline. Attendees must be at least 18. Tickets are distributed by online request rather than sold at the door, and the request page is at 1iota.com/show/5835/live-with-kelly-and-mark-st.-pete-clearwater. A request does not guarantee a spot.

Several details remain unannounced. Organizers haven’t said how many tickets will be available for each taping, and they haven’t named any celebrity guests.

The show has deep roots in Florida television. Ripa has co-hosted the program for more than two decades and has won seven Daytime Emmy Awards for talk show host. Consuelos, her husband, became permanent co-host in April 2023 after years of guest hosting. The pair won the 2024 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host. The nationally syndicated program airs weekdays at 10 a.m. on FOX 13.

For Clearwater Beach, the appeal is exposure. Two mornings of national broadcast from the shoreline put a local resort and the surrounding tourism economy in front of a national audience, and the arrangement is built on a partnership between a private resort and a destination marketing group rather than a government-run event. Neither the hosts nor organizers have released the deal terms, including costs or any public funding, and they haven’t announced what each partner is contributing.
