HMC Hospitality Group has announced plans to open a new Hooters restaurant in Wesley Chapel, expanding its Florida presence. The 4,500-square-foot establishment will be located at 25245 Wesley Chapel Boulevard, adjacent to the Harley-Davidson dealership. The restaurant, which plans to open in summer 2025, will feature both indoor dining space and an outdoor patio.
The new location represents Hooters’ third venue in Pasco County and is expected to create approximately 60 local jobs. Neil Kiefer, CEO of HMC Hospitality Group, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, “We look forward to becoming a go-to spot for the Wesley Chapel community.”
The expansion marks part of a broader growth initiative by HMC Hospitality Group, which founded the original Hooters in Clearwater 41 years ago. The company’s plans include opening another location in The Villages’ Lake Deaton Plaza in early 2025, with additional sites under consideration across Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties.
HMC Hospitality currently operates 22 Hooters restaurants throughout Tampa Bay and Chicagoland, along with three Hoots locations in the Chicago area. The company is also diversifying its portfolio through a licensing agreement with Tacos & Tequila Cantina for future expansion.
