The City of Tampa has issued parking guidelines for the 2026 Gasparilla Parade of Pirates, warning attendees to expect heavy traffic and plan accordingly.
Event parking is available at Seminole Hard Rock Gasparilla Pirate Fest for $30, and city-run garages will also be open. The city recommends allowing extra time to arrive and secure parking.
Free transportation options include the TECO line streetcar, operating from 8:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., and HART bus shuttle service running between Ybor and Downtown Tampa from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Parking is prohibited in neighborhoods bordering the parade route starting at midnight. Police will enforce these restrictions, and no-parking and permit-only signs will be posted throughout affected areas.
Additional parking may be available through local businesses and organizations. The city has published detailed parking maps for 14 neighborhoods, including Davis Island, Downtown, Hyde Park, Palma Ceia, and others. Complete parking information and maps are available on the city of Tampa’s website.
