Florida’s Fisher Island, located in Miami Beach, has become the most expensive ZIP code in the United States, according to PropertyShark’s 2025 rankings. The area’s 33109 ZIP code reached a median home sale price of $9.5 million, surpassing Atherton, California, which previously held the top spot.
This marks the first time a Florida ZIP code has led the national list. The ranking reflects a 65% year-over-year increase in Fisher Island’s median sale price, which was $5.75 million in 2024. PropertyShark noted that the lowest-priced home sold for $1.41 million, while the highest-priced home sold for nearly $23.7 million, purchased by Miami attorneys William and Juliean Charouhis.
Another Florida location, Boca Grande’s 33921 ZIP code, also made the top 100, ranking 21st with a median sale price of $3.49 million..
The top five ZIP codes in the U.S. for 2025 are:
- 33109 – Miami Beach, FL: $9.5 million
- 94027 – Atherton, CA: $8.33 million
- 11962 – Sagaponack, NY: $5.92 million
- 92661 – Newport Beach, CA: $5.72 million
- 11976 – Water Mill, NY: $5.5 million
