Publix has issued a voluntary recall for one lot of its Rich & Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream due to a potential undeclared egg allergen.

The affected product is the half-gallon container with UPC 41415 03043 and a sell-by date of “June 19, 2026 A.” The vanilla ice cream containers may contain Rich & Creamy French Vanilla Ice Cream, but the lid may be mismatched.

Customers with egg allergies or severe sensitivities could experience serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the product.

The ice cream was distributed to stores in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida, excluding Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Tampa, and Sarasota locations. Virginia and North Carolina stores are not affected.

No illnesses have been reported to date. The potentially impacted product has been removed from store shelves. Customers who purchased the recalled ice cream can return it to their local Publix for a full refund or call customer care at 1-800-242-1227.
