Travelers at Tampa International Airport (TPA) faced disruptions on Monday as winter storms across the country caused delays and cancellations.
As of Monday morning, 117 flights were delayed, and 22 were canceled, adding to a weekend of widespread travel challenges.
The severe weather’s impact extended beyond commercial flights. Notably, the Kansas City Chiefs experienced delays after being stuck on the tarmac for hours when a nearby airport shut down and grounded all flights.
TPA advises passengers to stay informed by checking their flight status directly with their airlines for the latest updates.
