Currently, Tampa Bay residents are enjoying comfortable temperatures in the 70s, but a dramatic shift is approaching.
A powerful cold front will sweep through the area Monday afternoon, bringing precipitation, gusty winds, and a sharp temperature drop by evening.
Tuesday morning will usher in the season’s most frigid temperatures yet, with some locations plunging into the mid to upper 30s, while most areas hover in the low to mid-40s.
Tuesday marks the winter’s coldest day, with temperatures struggling to reach the mid to upper 50s. Combined with brisk northerly winds, residents should plan to bundle up.
The chilly pattern persists through Friday morning, maintaining lows between the mid-30s and low 40s. The Nature Coast and inland areas face possible freezing conditions.
While Friday afternoon offers a brief respite with milder temperatures, another cold front approaches Saturday, bringing yet another round of cool weather.
