Following the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the City of St. Petersburg will commence the final citywide debris pickup on Friday, January 3rd.
All remaining storm debris should be placed in the right of way by this date.
City leaders made the announcement on Friday.
Residents are advised to bring any remaining debris items to the curb and separate them into the following categories:
- Vegetative Debris: Branches, leaves, logs, and plants
- Fencing Materials: Fences knocked over during the storm
- Electronics: Computers, televisions, and other devices
- Appliances: Air conditioners, dishwashers, washers and dryers, stoves, refrigerators, water heaters
- Construction Materials: Building materials, carpet, drywall, furniture, lumber, plumbing
