Fans of Trader Joe’s in the Tampa Bay area have a reason to celebrate as the popular grocery chain is set to open its newest location in Palm Harbor on Thursday, December 12, at 9 a.m.
The new store is located in the Highland Lakes Plaza at 33597 US Hwy 19 N., near the intersection of Nebraska Avenue. It marks the northernmost Trader Joe’s in the Bay Area, expanding the chain’s reach for local shoppers.
To staff the new location, Trader Joe’s has hired 65 employees from the surrounding community and plans to transfer additional team members from nearby stores. For those interested in joining the team, application details can be found online.
As part of its commitment to the community, the Palm Harbor Trader Joe’s will participate in the company’s Neighborhood Shares Program, donating 100% of unsold but good-condition products to local non-profit organizations.
This will be the third Trader Joe’s location in the Bay Area, joining existing stores in Tampa and St. Petersburg.
Whether you’re stocking up on cult favorites like cookie butter or affordable wines like Two-Buck Chuck, the new Palm Harbor store offers another convenient spot to enjoy Trader Joe’s unique offerings.
