St. Pete Parks and Recreation is excited to present the “Holiday Movies in the Park” event series, part of the “Holidays in the Sunshine City” celebration. This free, family-friendly entertainment series offers a cozy outdoor movie experience and a festive kickoff to the holiday season.

Each movie night begins with delightful activities before the main feature. Guests can take photos with Santa, participate in reindeer games, and enjoy holiday-themed snacks. Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for a comfortable evening under the stars.

The event opens to the public at 6:30 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

  • Dec. 7: “Nightmare Before Christmas” at Huggins-Stengel Field, 1320 5th St. N.
  • Dec. 14: “The Grinch” at Vinoy Park, 701 Bayshore Dr. NE
