After almost 10 years of serving raw oysters and crab legs in downtown St. Petersburg, the beloved seafood restaurant Sea Salt will be closing its doors.
The restaurant’s parent company, Aielli Group, announced in a press release on Tuesday that the lease on the second floor of The Sundial is coming to an end.
“The past ten years have been nothing short of amazing,” said co-owner Ingrid Aielli. “We’re incredibly proud to have been part of this community and thankful for the friendships and memories we’ve made together. This farewell is bittersweet, but we’ll forever cherish these experiences.”
Since its debut in 2015, Sea Salt has gained popularity with its 80-foot raw bar, 22-foot-tall wine cellar, $1 oyster happy hours, and Venetian-inspired dishes.
Located at 183 2nd Ave N, Sea Salt will remain open until its last day of service on Dec. 31.
