Clearwater is gearing up to celebrate its Tampa Bay veterans and community spirit at the annual Clearwater Patriot Fest on November 9th at Coachman Park. This year’s event takes on special significance as the community recovers from recent hurricanes.
The festival, running from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 300 Cleveland St., Clearwater, promises a day filled with fun, entertainment, and support for veterans.
Highlights include:
- Food Boxes and Resources: Essential resources will be distributed to veterans and their families.
- Battle of the Bands: High schools from Clearwater and Seminole will compete for musical bragging rights.
- Market Marie: Over 150 local businesses and vendors offering food, crafts, and other goods.
- Live Military Demonstrations: Exciting displays honoring our veterans.
- Relief Grants: The Florida Veterans Coalition will provide financial assistance to veterans impacted by the hurricanes.
The Market Marie, an open-air market for small businesses, takes place every second Saturday of the month at Coachman Park. It features over 130 vendors offering unique products, delicious food, refreshing drinks, pet adoptions, and a bounce house for the kids. This event is perfect for the whole family to enjoy while supporting local businesses.
“Clearwater Patriot Fest is about celebrating our veterans while also providing real support to those in need,” said Robert Groover, President of the Florida Veterans Coalition. “This event brings our community together in a spirit of gratitude and resilience, offering aid, entertainment, and a sense of togetherness.”
This free event is open to everyone. Join the festivities, show your appreciation for veterans, and support the Clearwater community. For more information, visit floridaveterans.org.
