Downtown Tampa’s waterfront is set to sparkle once again as Winter Village returns to Curtis Hixon Park, bringing six weeks of holiday magic from November 22 to January 5. The beloved seasonal attraction transforms the Tampa Riverwalk into a festive wonderland, complete with twinkling lights, seasonal shopping, and the city’s signature outdoor ice rink.

Visitors can explore the enchanting vendor marketplace daily from noon to 10 p.m., where local artisans showcase unique holiday treasures. The centerpiece ice rink extends its hours until 11 p.m., offering extended evening skating beneath the stars. Starting November 1, skating tickets will be available for $17, including a 90-minute session and skate rental.

New this year, Winter Village introduces a Holiday Tree Decorating Contest December 7-9, inviting teams to showcase their creative flair. Interested decorators can apply through October 31 for a $25 entry fee, with selected participants announced on November 7.

While the Tampa weather may stay warm, Winter Village creates its own winter charm with festive touches like gourmet hot chocolate stations and seasonal treats. For those seeking additional winter experiences, nearby Snowcat Ridge Alpine Snow Park offers complementary cold-weather adventures.
