The massive touring electronic music festival, Breakaway, will return to Raymond James Stadium on April 25-26, 2025 as one of the biggest events in Tampa Bay. Early bird tickets are now available, and the official lineup will be revealed this winter. Last spring, the event drew enormous crowds to the area.

Breakaway began in 2016 in Columbus, Ohio, featuring dance and hip-hop acts like Alison Wonderland, Dillon Francis, Rae Sremmurd, and RL Grime. Founded by Ruben and Adam Lynn, the event targets college towns, positioning itself as a dance and pop-oriented Vans Warped Tour, bringing a premium dance experience to underserved markets.

Major Music Festivals Continue to Come to Tampa

“The reception we get from the artists who are playing, everyone is thankful for the opportunity,” Breakaway co-founder Adam Lynn told Pollstar. “The opportunity to be growing in this kind of climate gives us a lot of leverage when we’re approaching agencies and now we have 10 cities we’re booking against for next year.” Lynn also mentioned plans to expand their artist management and influencer representation business, with a long-term goal of hosting 20 Breakaway festivals nationwide, according to Pollstar.

Known for showcasing both established and emerging artists, the Breakaway Music Festival offers attendees a chance to enjoy live music performances in a dynamic and lively atmosphere. The festival often includes other entertainment and elements such as art installations, food vendors, and interactive experiences to create an unforgettable event for attendees.
