USA Today has unveiled its list of the top 20 haunted houses in the country, and two attractions from the Tampa Bay area have not only made the cut but are vying for the top spot.

Scream-A-Geddon Horror Park in Dade City boasts six terrifying haunted houses. Visitors can encounter deranged patients at Ravenhill Asylum, engage in zombie paintball, or explore Bloodwater Bayou. This attraction even claims the title of Florida’s scariest haunted house.

Sir Henry’s Trail in Plant City also earned a spot on the list. This fright fest features roaming scare actors, laser tag, vendors, and axe-throwing.

A bit further away, Kissimmee’s Mortem Manor also made the USA Today list. This year-round attraction is set in a two-story Victorian haunted house complete with creaking floorboards, strange scents, and ghostly apparitions.
