The community is focused on recovery efforts following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, with volunteers, donation drives, and fundraisers actively working to support Pinellas County’s rebuilding. Despite the challenges, residents are finding ways to celebrate the city’s spirit and uplift local businesses. On Sunday, October 27, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., attendees can stroll along Central Avenue from 31st Street to Dr. MLK Jr. (9th) Street, engaging with local businesses and enjoying a festive atmosphere without the hassle of car traffic.

St. Pete’s Largest Open-Air Event

“We Are St. Pete, and one thing I know about this community is that we are compassionate, hard-working, and resilient,” said Roger Curlin, Executive Director for the EDGE District. “The recovery process will take time, but supporting our local businesses and residents is crucial.”

Getting to this expansive 22-block event is easy, with multiple transportation options available. The award-winning SunRunner has convenient stops along the route, and attendees can also bike, walk, or use public transport. The Tampa Bay Rays are offering free parking in their lots all day, while PSTA and the SunRunner will provide free fares for the event.
