Tampa Battles is gearing up to launch in November, inviting locals to explore new spots through monthlong “Battles” in various categories, all accessible via a single website. November’s inaugural event is the Tampa Brewery Battle. (photo credit Chad Kwiatkowski)

Participants will receive a free pint of beer or a beer flight at over 10 local breweries, valid anytime from November 1-30, by showing their Tampa Battles web app to the bartender. After each visit, users submit a private vote in the app, with the brewery receiving the most 5-star votes crowned the champion.

Early bird tickets are priced at $15 ($30 after October 12), and they’re expected to sell out fast. The St. Pete Brewery Battle, with over 15 participating breweries, sold out before the event even began!

Participating breweries include:

• Common Dialect Beerworks
• Coppertail Brewing Co
• Florida Avenue Brewing – 1 free beer at both locations
• Keel Farms & Brewery
• Ology Brewing
• Yuengling Draft Haus

Plus, additional breweries will be announced soon!

An early bird pass for the inaugural Brewery Battle costs just $15, allowing participants to enjoy 10+ beers for all of November. Unlike other programs, Tampa Battles does not require an automatically renewing membership. Not into beer? Future battles will include categories like tacos and wine bars. Each month’s category will be announced a few weeks in advance, allowing anyone interested in trying the best wings or lattes around Tampa to sign up.
